Marvin's Garage Doors should have them. If the section is broken through the strut will not work miracles. Probably need a top section also.

Is the garage door business still near the Wilkesboro Dragway entrance?

I think that's just to keep the bolts from pulling through. Sort of just a big washer

I have aluminum Wayne Dalton 9' garage doors, like what they sell at Lowes. They were on the house when I bought it.
Over time, my garage door openers have bent the top panel inward. I don't think the openers have too much torque, I just think that the rollers got dry and the opener pulled too hard.
I'm trying to find something to reinforce the top panel. I figured a 9' steel bar with brackets to attach to the door, but Lowes doesn't have anything like that. I looked on Amazon and found this:
https://www.amazon.c...B002VCPNYI
This would go in the middle of the panel, on top of the existing metal plate. But I'm not sure if that would help any. Wouldn't a strut distribute the torque across the entire top panel, instead of focusing it on the middle where it's buckling?
If I need a strut instead, where can I find something like that locally? I couldn't find anything on Amazon.
